In my time on the Carlmont journalism staff, I have been just one of many cultivating a supportive community. I have organized trivia competitions, peer edited, and attended the NSPA/JEA National High School Journalism Conference in 2022.

In my work as a class officer in Associated Student Body (ASB), I have helped train incoming officers, organize whole-school events and fundraisers, and managing a class budget.
